She is a Madison-area native and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s degree.  Laura currently resides in Madison with her husband, Mike, and their Yorkshire Terrier, Miley.

After planning her own wedding, Laura realized just how expensive a wedding can be.  She recognizes that while a wedding is an important milestone in everyone’s life, it should be about the memories and friends, not the bills years after. Thus, Laura founded Brides On A Budget for the couples who have similar sentiments. Her objective is to assist couples in creating a beautiful, unforgettable wedding, by designing sensible, fresh, and modern décor while providing them with peace of mind so they can enjoy their special day with the ones they love.
