Located in Madison, WI, Brides On A Budget believes that every couple can enjoy the wedding they desire and deserve on an affordable budget. We aim to create personalized weddings within each couple's means by seeking modern, fresh and innovative ideas. By utilizing local resources and vendors, each wedding will be a unique, individualized experience.

 

Owner, Laura Ursin, founded Brides On A Budget in 2010 and has operated the company since them. Her background ranges from planning weddings and events for 40 guests to more than 400. She is a Madison-area native and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a Bachelor’s degree. Laura currently resides in Sun Prairie, WI with her husband, Mike, their two sons, Ben and James, and their Yorkshire Terrier, Sophie. After planning her own wedding, Laura realized just how expensive a wedding can be. She recognizes that while a wedding is an important milestone in everyone’s life, it should be about the memories and friends, not the bills years after. Thus, Laura founded Brides On A Budget for the couples who have similar sentiments. Her objective is to assist couples in creating a beautiful, unforgettable wedding, by designing sensible, fresh, and modern décor while providing them with peace of mind so they can enjoy their special day with the ones they love.
